Sakura has been in love with Sasuke for the longest time and has devoted her whole life to him apparently. There's never a moment she's not worried, depressed, sad, thinking of him and all of that.
She'd sacrifice all she had for him, even if he never returns his feelings to her. She'd give up all she had for him and that was quite apparent in the famous SasuSaku scene of episode 109 and manga chapter 181. She gave up her best friend for him, she'd sacrifice her life for him and do anything to try to make him happy.
Isn't this what they call blindly in love?
So truly deep and real that a person would give anything for that person they care most about. She told him she was in love with him and he just told her she was annoying. Its love...really! Well, here you can read the famous chapter 181 (just click to open it up to a new page) and maybe if you look closely you'll see how much Sasuke regrets doing what he has to do but he's doing it anyway because that's what his goal is. He must do all he can to avenge the deaths of the whole Uchiha Clan. What Sasuke has to do is something he really needs to do, not because he has to. |
