• How come?
Everybody I know hates Sasuke. Really, they do. There are some who like him but then again a huge percentage of people hate him. He's strong, he's evil, he's vicious and he's arrogant. Alright, so what guy isn't necessarily like that? Some guys are like this and are plain out labeled "badboy" and those who aren't this way have it in them but just choose not to show it. He's so cruel and mean to Sakura and to everyone around him. How can I possibly love a guy like him?

Simple. I just do. Its just hard to put into words why I don't hate him. Its because of all the hardship probably that he's faced. You can't blame him for joining the dark side after all he's been through. He wants to be stronger, he wants power but Konoha just apparently isn't giving it to him. So he decides to take the easy way out and join Orochimaru and become his apprentice/container. He doesn't care what happens to himself as long as he kills Itachi because that is what's important.

In a way, Sasuke is as caring as he is mean. He shows he cares by his actions, not by his words. As they say, actions speak louder than words. You have to have a heart and really understand Sasuke and his whole ordeal. His whole clan was massacred by his own brother. Brother! What would you do if your own brother or sibling killed all the members of your family? Including your relatives! What the hell would you do? You sure as hell wouldn't stand around and just cry about it.

I certainly wouldn't have and I'd honestly be doing exactly what Sasuke's doing right now. I wouldn't care what happened to me as long as I avenge my clan. Poor Sasuke. Thanks to Itachi he didn't exactly grow up to be a normal boy at all. He lost everything that day. He's been taking care of himself for a very long while. He's really lonely living in a mansion and all you do there is sleep and eat.

He's been alone for so long and that made him despise those around him. He's got an icy barrier over himself so that no one would interfere with his goal. Then along came Sakura and Naruto. Basically the whole Team 7. Kakashi taught him a lot of things he needed to know. He was almost like a big brother to Sasuke, maybe even a father figure.

Naruto was like his best friend even though they fought a lot and got into a lot of arguments. That's what best friends and rivals do. They were both building and encouraging each other with their words and actions. Sakura on the otherhand is someone he cares about too. He may be an asshole to her at times but he shows he cares.

Sakura even confessed how much she loved him and Sasuke, who is unable to return her feelings didn't exactly tell her he didn't feel the same way. He just left her with words of gratitude rather than parting. The Naruto databook even stated that itself. That moment when he said, "Sakura...thank you." it was voted the #1 most touching scene in the whole naruto series.

Team 7 has melted brung down his icy barrier little by little but then Orochimaru reminds hmi of what his true focus is. He's supposed to avenge his clan and yet he's out "playing ninja" instead of training as hard as he could to defeat Itachi. Even Orochimaru stated that Itachi was stronger than him and that is saying something.

Sasuke is the most hated character out of the whole series apparently but I don't give a shit. I don't care what the opinions of society have to say because I love Sasuke. He makes me swoon, he makes me smile and he makes me laugh. He's not a bad guy if you think about it. He just has to focus on his goals first before getting into anything else. He doesn't really mean to be cold but that's just how he has to act.

We can't have an all around happy-go-lucky Sasuke now can we? It would appear to the visitors as if he didn't care his whole clan was wiped out and all he had left was his big brother who murdered them all. Its not right. He also can't let go of the past because of this. He can't be happy because he feels obliged to avenge his clan. Its either you hate him or you love/admire him. That's it, no other reasons or "in-between's" in hating or loving him because its not possible. Its either one or the other. So basically, I don't give a crab's white poo what you think about him. :]
