Why do I love them so much? Why do I love a pairing so odd and dysfunctional as them? They've never fought before but he finds her
annoying and finds him..."cool" for lack of better term. What may have begun as a simple childish crush blossomed into something more.
Its obvious how Sakura feels because she's always there for him on a daily basis. Its as if all she does is worry about him 24/7 since
he's on her mind everyday.
Even when he brushes her off she just casually lets it off and pretend as if what he says to her doesn't affect her when it does. She'd risk her life for him no matter what and do possibly anything she can for him. How devoted is that?! Would anybody really stay with a guy that treated you as badly as Sasuke ever did? Even I know and realize that Sakura deserves way better than the treatment Sasuke gives her but then again they both deserve each other. Sasuke has qualities Sakura lacks and vice versa. They both complete one another no matter how different they both are. Sasuke may not love her right now but he still cares about her as an important friend. Sakura's on the otherhand is something real and deep. I believe her love for him will surpass everything and all the obstacles in her way. After the time skip in the manga which is 2 1/2 to 3 years later she is still in love with him. Her love for him is forever unwavering. Sakura's love is exactly what Sasuke needs. He's always been lonely his whole life from the moment Itachi killed the whole clan. He needs someone like Sakura who has been surrounded by friends and family to melt the icy barrier around his heart. Sakura and Naruto have both been able to show him what teamwork is and that they'll never leave him. That they both care and will always be there for him. Especially Sakura after all the times she's come to his aid. Whenever the curse seal is wanting to open up and take over him, the first thing he thinks about is Sakura and her tears. They are what keeps the curse seal tamed. One of his goals was to revive his clan and the second was to kill Itachi. After killing Itachi who do you think will Sasuke go to to revive the clan? Ino? I don't think so since they aren't close at all. The only other person Sasuke obviously trusts is Sakura. Sasuke was supposed to infinitely focus on defeating Itachi because that was what his ambition was. He got side-tracked though because Sakura and Naruto entered his life. Naruto as his best friend, even if they fought a lot that's how they show and encourage one another. Sakura, more or less his love interest because if you think about it...she's the only girl he's ever truly opened up to. It sucks for Naruto because he has a crush on Sakura but even Naruto understand what Sakura feels for Sasuke is no crush. Its something more. Sasuke was on the brink of even choosing his friends over his revenge until Orochimaru pointed out what was more important to him. Team 7 means more to him that anything and even before Sasuke was about to leave, the last thing he looked at was the picture of the team. The only picture Sakura, Naruto, Kakashi and him had ever taken and had. The famous episode 109 and chapter 181 scenes were the most loaded with SasuSaku...even if they were leaving their seperate ways. Sakura is desperate to not lose Sasuke so she does anything she can possibly think of to make him stay. She confesses how much she loves him and even offering on joining his twisted journey to avenge his clan. Sasuke's last words to her before knocking her out was "Sakura...thank you." Even the Naruto databook elaborated on this a bit and said that "Sasuke is unable to answer her feelings - At the end, he leaves her with only a word of gratitude rather than words of parting." Which is really true if you think about it. It was voted the #1 most touching scene as of yet throughout the animanga She is his strength as she is his weakness. She does things to him that no one else can really. Its vice versa for her too. I do believe we should thank Sasuke though for shaping up Sakura. For leaving her behind. Why? Because Kickass!Sakura would not be alive today if it wasn't for Sasuke leaving. I'm sure she always told herself that she'd work hard and be stronger but when Sasuke left is what hit the spot and motivated her to keep going. I'm sure she'll drag our lil Sasuke back where he belongs...:D
